Publisher and purpose

FinScope Research is the publishing name of the independently operated FinScope project. It calculates and explains drawdown and recovery data for US stocks and ETFs for informational purposes. It does not write on behalf of a broker or asset manager, recommend a security, or provide personalized investment advice.

Content types and automation

• Ticker, comparison and theme pages are data products built from stored daily series and shared calculation code. Figures, charts and rules-based explanations may update automatically; FinScope does not claim that a person reviews every generated page every day.
• Guides explain methods, interpretation and common mistakes. Each example is identified as either a real dataset result or a hypothetical illustration.
• Research combines calculations from FinScope data with external sources identified in the article when needed. It states the data date and comparison window.
• Market logs are automated daily or weekly records. They are kept separate from durable guides and are not treated as the primary search or RSS publication.

Review standard

Before publication, the review checks whether the title and body answer the same question, figures match the displayed data, the window/currency/adjustment basis is explicit, source links directly support the associated claim, and the wording cannot reasonably be read as a recommendation. A page is not automatically treated as ad-eligible when the repository cannot prove human review.

Ad requests are fail-closed until account approval, a Google-certified CMP for relevant regions, commercial data rights, and an explicit page-level eligibility decision have all been confirmed.

Sources and calculation rules

Unless stated otherwise, price analysis uses split- and dividend-adjusted closes from Yahoo Finance. KRW conversion uses only the overlap between price and FX coverage. When histories start on different dates, lifetime results are separated from common-window results. See the methodology, adjusted-close guide and common-window guide for formulas and limitations.

Corrections

Email [email protected] with the URL, ticker, disputed figure or sentence, and verifiable evidence. For reproducible data errors, FinScope checks the source-data, calculation and presentation layers. Material changes that affect interpretation are recorded through an updated date or a separate correction note.

The address is the site's published contact channel, but this policy does not promise a response time or guarantee that every request will be adopted.
